His talk articulates pragmatic ways to rewire the capitalist economy for the 21st century – a renewed “Climate Capitalism”- The Case for Climate Capitalism: Economic Solutions

Alec Hay & Shatha Qaqish-Clavering: With a focus on the energy transition, Alec and Shatha will discuss a big-picture overview of Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (IC&I) organizations’ operational transition to a low-carbon economy – including socio-economic, environmental, technology, systems and climate challenges and opportunities that need urgent action. The successful and necessary outcome includes mitigation, adaptation and resilience measures that typically cost less than chasing compliance across the enterprise.
